Metabolic Research, Inc. Signs Contract With GNC

November 2, 2008 LAS VEGAS, Nevada Metabolic Research, Inc. (OTC:MTBR) announced that it has entered into an agreement with General Nutrition Distribution, LP, for storefront retail sales of Metabolic’s Stemulite™ Fitness Formula for Men and Stemulite™ Fitness Formula for Women.

General Nutrition Distribution, LP, is the wholesale purchasing and logistics arm of General Nutrition Corporation (“GNC”), which is the largest global specialty retailer of nutritional products. GNC has more than 3,600 retail locations throughout the United States.

The announcement was made jointly by Robert Bakker, until recently MTBR VP of Sales and current CEO, and KC Quintana, President of the IDZIN Division of MTBR.  Quintana is both architect and builder of the MTBR marketing program and Bakker has translated the marketing plan into sales.

Bakker said “GNC brings us the strongest possible “brick and mortar” presence and we know that this will complement our internet and broadcast market sectors.  The Stemulite™ Fitness Formula demographic is a perfect overlay of the GNC customer profile.”
